However, after 11:59 tomorrow night, all Lotto stores will be closed until New Zealand lifts the Level 4 Alert. It will also include all Lotto NZ Counters in dairies, supermarkets, and pharmacies. These places will be open to offering essential services only. The lottery also stated that they understand that some customers might feel a disappointment for not being able to buy tickets form stores. On the other hand, all businesses have to adapt to this new reality in this unprecedented time.

Computers to Generate the NZ Lotto Draws

Lotto NZ is going to conduct draws that are generated by. The reason behind that is its inability to hold live Lotto draws during the Alert 4 lockdown. The Lotto is also trying to reassure its customers that all winning Powerball, Strike, and Lotto numbers are under the scrutiny of Audit New Zealand. The Lotto will use a sophisticated and well-tested draw process. It is the same method that the lottery used before on the draw that took place on the 26th of October of last year.
